Llanwarne Village hall is at the centre of our strong and vibrant community and is well equipped to provide a fabulous venue for any social occasion, arts event , business conferencing, therapy space or class.
Our very hard-working committee regularly puts on lunches, dinners, quizzes, music, arts, and theatre events as well as our Pop up Pub and so much more!
All are welcome, there’s something for everyone to enjoy, so why not take a look at our events pages for full details of our programme?
Llanwarne Village Hall has been at the heart of our parish for over 100 years. Originally the Victorian school until its transfer to the community as a hall in the 1960’s, the hall has witnessed uncountable civic events and celebrations of life and death within our community.
The hall sits within the conservation area of Llanwarne, set above the Gamber Brook and alongside St John the Baptist’s ruins and Christchurch. It is a popular and well-loved venue for many – not just within the parish.

The Village Hall
Living in rural Herefordshire can present challenges which have been exacerbated by Covid, the cost of living crisis and social isolation. Our very hard-working committee regularly puts on a variety of events, lunches and dinners and offers a charming space to hire for any social or civic occasion, comfortably accommodating around 100 people.
Our village hall is run by a small committee of busy but dedicated local residents who strive to keep our community vibrant. We meet at least once a month either for events, to discuss new ideas or what needs doing next (an endless list!). Please contact us if you are interested in joining our committee. we always welcome feedback and new ideas for future events.

Our Funders
Llanwarne Village Hall was fortunate to receive funding for an internal transformation during Covid.
The former Victorian School was showing its age and needed urgent work on damp proofing, insulation and a new heating system, disabled access to our garden and extensive redecoration alongside the latest in digital technology. We even managed to expose the beautiful original Victorian beams. As the refurbishment neared completion we were able to lure people back into the hall with a fabulous selection of cultural and musical events funded by the Covid Recovery Fund.
Thank you so much to all the organisations and individuals who contributed to that work. Our commitment to ongoing improvements to the building and developing a Well Being Centre in the heart of Llanwarne continues.
